Second visit this season to Mt Field National Park to see the spectacular annual event of the continents only deciduous plant – the Deciduous Beech (Nothofagus gunnii) – going through its 2-3 week change of colours. Now well into the yellow phase, beginning to loose its leaves in parts, mostly in the crowns of the trees. Tasmanian winter just around the corner…
